January or October?{Sunday Snapshot}

Really?

We don't normally see weather like this until January in our neck of the woods. Maybe December, but not in the past few years anyway.

It was absolutely beautiful!

It was also very nice to be tucked inside and enjoying a day together. Ok, I have to be honest, we weren't ALL together ALL day. The hubby and I had a night and a morning to OURSELVES! WOO-HOO thanks to Poppa and Lisa! It was AWESOME for us and the girls and apparently Poppa and Lisa too! Now that's a Win-Win!

I woke up early to read my bible and do my devotions. After that I got caught up reading blogs, LOVE THAT! My hubby joined me somewhere during that time and lost himself in The Shack, yes, we are only reading it now. He highly reccommends it! So around noon we took out the Mighty Burban as we lovingly refer to our newer FAMILY vehicle! LOVE IT, lots of room for all OUR GIRLS and picked them up!

We came home and they headed out into the white stuff that was calling THEIR NAMES! Here are some snippets of their first time in the snow since February!

Seriously, who needs SNO-CONES when you can eat the REAL STUFF?!

Can ya tell THE BLONDEY as we lovingly refer to her as, is the SNOW PRINCESS around here! She LOVES playing in the stuff as little as I dislike playing in it!

Don't let this picture fool you! This girl played all but 15 minutes, she doesn't like to be COLD!{just like her momma}

Such a good BIG SISTER!

Can't believe Little Pippy is now sporting this hat. I bought it for Lilli back in the day, it was just so cute, it still is! Just can't believe Pippy is now wearing it! Time SURE does FLY!

Can't wait for the day when I am posting pics of Emmalin joining in on the SNOW FUN! However until then, patience must PREVAIL! Don't want to be wishing time away either! Lots of joy to be found in this journey til' then!
