Alexis's Third Loose Tooth

Tooth #3

She's so proud

"Please leave my tooth under my pillow"
She wrote this last year in Kindergarten
When she lost her first two teeth.
We saved it on the bulletin board for future teeth.
We saved the other two teeth too.
The tooth fairy left a dollar.

Yesterday we were having some struggles the girls and I. In their minds to play Barbies all the pieces, shoes, etc. need to be sprawled all over the floor, on the dresser etc. I had enough and decided Barbie mania was over! We could do something else and I asked them to clean up. I went downstairs to the sound of tears and wails... before long footsteps running down the hall and steps I heard. Alexis came running up to me with a tissue in her mouth and a tooth in her hand! Mom she's exclaiming I lost my third tooth! It had been loose for a few weeks now, she'd been wiggling and pushing on it with her tongue and fingers daily. I knew it was a matter of time before it came out. I said what were you doing upstairs yanking and playing with your tooth instead of cleaning up Barbies. She replied, no I was crying and it just Washed out of my Mouth!
