Monday morning I was getting ready for work and Lilli walked into my bathroom. She promptly expressed that Daddy told her to tell me that " Satan won the battle." Very confused and concerned I asked her to repeat what she just said and again she explained that "Satan won the battle." Not sure if Joe was frustrated with something going on downstairs that I was oblivious to, I went to the top of the stairs. I called down and asked "What is Lilli talking about-Satan won the battle?" Immediately my husband burst into laughter and finally after composing himself said, "No, The Saints Won the Superbowl!" Well, what a relief, since I did not like that statement she was making at all! Lesson learned: Never tell a 4 year old to pass it on!
