Our First Morning in Baltimore

My favorite store in Baltimore.

We started off the morning with two cups of coffee(Joe and I) we needed it, before heading downstairs for our full continental breakfast. It was a welcome site and hit the spot, with more coffee in our bellies we headed upstairs to get ready for our day. As we were donning our shoes we came to realize that Alexis never grabbed her sneakers as we had asked her to. We then realized we were heading to a shoe store for sneaks, running and lots o' walking wouldn't do in her Children's Place pink crocs. The girls posed for a pic and we headed down the street to Famous Footwear, which we found online(so thankful for our laptop). As we were trudging down the street towards our destinations we quickly discovered that Lilli's sneakers(the ones we remembered to bring along) did indeed not fit her, flopping off her feet as we walked. Now we were in need of two pairs of sneakers, Praise the Lord Anna's shoes fit and worked for her! :)

We found Filene's Basement before Famous Footwear and I quickly found my favorite Baltimore find: my hat. I felt quite stylish, hip and Baltimorian in it and begged Joe to buy it (trust me it was a steal). The girls liked it too and quickly agreed it was a go!
We then rounded the corner to Famous Footwear(ok, I'm making this sound easy, it wasn't). We are so accustomed to walking into a store that is all one level and not having to ride elevators or escalators. It was tricky to find, for us at least who had no idea what side of the building it was on. Yes, we found it, the girls got sneaks and we were ready for Port Discovery!
