Sleepytime Sisters

Last week I was putting Lilli and Anna to bed, who share a room together. Anna was not ready or happy to be going to bed. She was fussing, even though she had her pacifier, well all three of them. She has to have one in her mouth, and one in her hand, or more if she can. Well this particular night she had three and her blanket. Knowing that she wasn't content I peeked back in their room a few minutes later to find her still fussing. Now standing up and throwing her body against the crib rail obnoxiously, making a terrible banging sound all the while looking at Lilli in her bed. Lilli preceeded to get out of her bed to go over and comfort Anna. Anna immediately layed down and Lilli reached through the crib rails to comfort her, rubbing her head and stroking her hair as she has watched me do. All the time shushing and cooing and saying "It's ok Anna, ssshhh, just go to sleep Bubba," as we have lovingly gave her as a nickname. Anna was comforted and Lilli crept back to her bed. It was so sweet to see Lilli comforting her Baby Sister, she has not always been the most endearing to Anna. Meanwhile Anna decided to taste or try out all of her pacifiers and began rotating and sucking on each one for a moment and then swap it out for another. Too funny! It was all I could to not make a sound as I peeked through the door witnessing such a comical time. Gotta love Sisters! I always wished that I would have been blessed with a sister, I'm so glad my girls have each other!
